Veterans Tribute Weekend

2020 Veterans Tribute

As with most things in 2020, organizers have had to make adjustments to the Veterans Tribute weekend event in its second year. We will continue to honor our veterans as we can by sharing our military history and hosting the Veterans Walk of Honor at the Lejeune Memorial Gardens on Veterans Day, November 11. While we wish we could gather together in Jacksonville to honor our heroes in big ways, we hope you will make plans to be part of our scaled down event on November 11, or head to Jacksonville during the weekend to tour the Lejeune Memorial Gardens on your own time and thank a veteran for their service.

We plan to return in 2021 with a full weekend of activities, including the annual Veterans Day Parade along Western Boulevard, followed by the family fun event at the Jacksonville Commons, presentations by the Carolina Museum of the Marine, live concerts and annual Veterans Day Ceremony. Make your plans now to join us next year in Jacksonville, NC where you’ll Receive A Hero’s Welcome during our Veterans Tribute Weekend

Explore our website for more information on hotels, things to do and see, and places to eat while you are in Jacksonville.
