Friday, November 8
145 Blue Creek Road; Doors open at 8PM; Concert begins at 9PM
The Tarheel Lounge Concert Lounge will present a Kick-off Concert featuring Trial by Fire, A Tribute to Journey. More event details and ticket prices are available at TarheelNCLive.com. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Fisher House Foundation.
Saturday, November 9
Annual Veterans Day Parade, 10AM
Along Western Boulevard; Parking available at Coastal Carolina Community College; Hosted by Rolling Thunder Chapter 5
Salute our Nation's Heroes and their supporters during this 2-mile parade. This year, the Sudan Shriners Fall Ceremonial Parade will follow.
Reuben the Bulldog is coming to Jacksonville to pay respects to his bulldog veteran mascot buddies and will ride in the parade. He’ll also be a grand usher, showing off the new Arts Council bulldog statue that will soon be installed downtown.
Free Family Fun Event, 1-5PM
Jacksonville Commons Recreation Complex, 100 Recreation Lane
- Touch-A-Truck area will feature several military vehicles, large City work vehicles, and monster trucks (hosted by Zing Zumm Children's Museum)
- Kids activities and games will include a rock wall, laser tag, military face painting, giant Connect 4 Basketball and more
- Hay rides
- Food trucks
- Meet Reuben the Bulldog
- Register to win 2019 Guitar Pull tickets with WRNS, 2-4PM
- Live music, featuring Mike Corrado at 4PM
Museum of the Marine presents Firsts at Camp Lejeune

Lejeune Memorial Gardens Guided Tours, 2-4PM
Located at Johnson Boulevard and Montford Landing Road
Tour the Lejeune Memorial Gardens where you can learn military history and honor the fallen.
A shuttle will be available to the Gardens from the Family Event at the Commons.
Monday, November 11
Veterans Day Ceremony, 11AM
Hosted by the Onslow County Disabled American Veterans Chapter 16; 300 Sherwood Road
Open to the public. A reception will follow.
