Jacksonville is a great place for those who enjoy an active lifestyle. Runners flock to the City for unique and professionally produced races. The Marine Corps Half Marathon is an event where participants can run alongside active-duty Marines aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. The Jacksonville Commons Recreation Complex is home to many annual sporting tournaments and events. Team sporting events include the Jacksonville Jamboree Softball and Basketball Tournaments (May), Annual Disc Golf Classic (November), as well the annual Pickleball Tournament (March) which draws participants and audiences from across the State and beyond.
