Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Observance - Monday, May 29, 2023

Monday, May 29, 2023, the Beirut Memorial Chapter 642 will host the annual Memorial Day Observance at the Lejeune Memorial Gardens behind the Eagle Globe and Anchor (future site for the Museum of the Marine.) The event is open to the public, and will occur rain or shine. The observance will be recorded for broadcast on g10tv.org and the City YouTube Channel. 

The observance includes the tradition of reading the names of fallen shipmates since the last Memorial Day and honors to all those who have passed in service to their country. Check the events calendar for other events happening in Jacksonville over the Memorial Day Weekend.
